Lighting System


For Horror Games, Lighting is one of the the main pillars. Our game too relies heavily on Lighting.


In rooms like Reception, it is always welcoming and warm so we made our lighting to be warm and welcoming in nature.



It shifts to be more strict and specific in nature as you move on through the corridors giving the actual vibes of a military laboratory. The lighting will be more appealing when the decals for blood stains, food spills, chemical spills will be present and props textured are placed throughout the level.


What gives our game the scary feel? The flickers! We have several areas where the Flashlight will come in handy because there will be either no lights or flickering lights which will block the Player's vision for a long time.
